Plot Overview
The film is a spiritual sequel to Kesari (2019) and is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. It centers around C. Sankaran Nair, a prominent lawyer and former President of the Indian National Congress, who challenged the British Empire in court following the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The narrative focuses on the landmark legal battle that exposed the massacre as a deliberate act of genocide rather than a response to civil unrest.
